21-Sep-16 SK has signed an MOU with Korea University on the development of the 'Aibril' Infectious Disease AI Diagnosis Service, based on Watson. This will be a world first, as up to now AI-based medical services have been mainly limited to diagnosing cancers. The 5-year plan includes providing tax cuts for companies making investments in building R&D facilities and conducting clinical trials to test new drugs.
